| I held a disco on 12th March 2010 for the Daffodil appeal - where all proceeds went to Marie Curie Cancer Care. With guest choreographer Alan Haywood and his wife Fi, who taught us all 2 of his latest dances - Share My Love - choreographed to Have I The Right by Glenn Rogers and Nothing
But The Rent - choreographed to Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent by Gwen Guthrie. Both dances went down very well with many saying they would be keeping the dances going by teaching them at their own classes. Alan and Fi also demoed Alan's latest dance - Woman
On A Mission - choreographed to On A Mission by Gabriella Cilmi. We had great fun with plenty of floor splits for the beginner/improvers who were there and thanks to everyone who donated to the raffle which turned out to be a full table of prizes.
At the present time we have raised £190.00 which was great on the night and one member of my class rasied in sponsorship £66.10p but I rounded the 10p to a £1 so the total is £261.00
A big thanks to Alan and Fi Haywood for teaching some great dances and to all those who attended including Kim Ray and some of her Bluegrass linedancers, Lisa T and Country Roots, Line 2 Dance, Diane and everyone else..
